I am off this weekend to Blue Cypress Lake, here in Florida, to capture the many osprey’s that nest there each year. I will be posting a video and images using the Quick Action Harness from the pontoon boat. Being able to use my 500 mm lens on a boat was one of the important reasons for our inventing the harness. Please check back to see all the action!! Nancy Elwood

Reddish Egret Fishing
One of the great things about the Quick Action Harness, unlike a tripod, is that when you are following a subject, which is very active, you do not need to pick up your tripod and readjust before you can continue shooting, you are READY. This reddish egret was fishing and moving all around. As instinctive to their fishing behavior, this one would makes its run, put out its wings and try for a fish, then continue on. This, of course, happens in a matter of seconds. I put on the Quick Action Harness and attached my D300 with the Nikon 500 f/4 lens. Then, I put the egret in the view finder and just walked the bank to follow him/her, catching all those special moments. Nancy Elwood
